Kristine is fascinated by humans and, in particular, by the human dynamic of teams. She also loves fast-moving entrepreneurial businesses. She created a career that plays to her strengths – quick-witted, smart, ability to speak honestly with kindness, action-oriented, knack for unpacking subtleties in behavior – and she gets jazzed helping leaders get better at leading. Her background is in media. She’s led through times of insane expansion (hello: Wired circa 1999) and stifling contraction (hello: Inc. magazine circa 2008). Prior to co-founding Realize in 2021, she worked as a principal consultant with Patrick Lencioni’s Table Group, where she helped hundreds of teams as they aligned both behaviorally and strategically to perform at their best. She has MBAs from Columbia University and UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, a bachelor’s degree from California State University at Fullerton. A native Californian, she currently lives and works in Oakland and New York City.

Since 2009, Mary has served as an organizational effectiveness consultant and executive coach. Her approach blends directness with compassion, delivering valuable insights and strategies from her extensive work with numerous teams across various industries and growth stages. Mary's academic background includes an AB from the College of the Holy Cross and an MS in Management from MIT's Sloan School of Management. She is also a certified Stakeholder Centered Coach and a fellow with the Institute of Coaching. Based in Nashville, Mary and her husband also find home in the diverse landscapes of Cape Cod and the tranquil shores of Sanibel, Florida.
